After the successful launch of Samsung Galaxy S III, it looks like the next big phone from the Korean manufacturer is going to be the Galaxy Note II.
The Verge quotes a report from MK Business News that Samsung Galaxy Note II will make its debut in October, with the competing with Apple’s iPhone 5.
Apple’s next big event is in the fall and it is believed that the iPhone 5 will make its debut this year. The iPhone 5 is rumoured to have a much bigger screen, almost 4.0 inches, but compared to the Note that’s still tiny.
The Verge report also states that the Note II could have a thin, unbreakable plane display (UBP) and the phone could be much thinner. Other rumoured features includes a quad-core processor ( S III has that), a 12 megapixel camera.
Will the Note II be bigger? That’s not yet known.
Oh and the software won’t be Android 4.0, that’s Ice-Cream Sandwich. The rumours are that Note II will come with Android 5.0, Jelly Bean. Google’s developer conference is coming up next week. Will Googlerelease the new Android OS like Apple did in the last week? Wait and watch.
