Hulu has updated it’s player with a new look that’s all about less complexity than the old. It’s similar to the changes Netflix recently made to its web player UI.
All the transport controls are in a single bar. You even get options like a 10-second rewind and you can bring up the time left in a video when it’s paused. Closed captions, face match, quality and buffering options have their own submenu now. Pop-out and lower lights have been moved into a box below the player.
Once your show is over, there’s a new screen before the player
either automatically picks another video, which lets you replay what
you just watched or browse through other recommended selections. It’s on
the site now.
