Huawei announced the Ascend D1 a while back, and the device has now go on sale in China, the handset comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and features a 4.5 inch touchscreen display.
The 4.5 inch display on the Ascend D1 comes with a 720p HD IPS display, there is also a 1.5GHz processor and 1GB of RAM, plus front and rear facing cameras.
Up front there is a 1.3 megapixel camera for video chat, on the back there is an 8 megapixel camera for photos and video, which can record full high definition video in 1080p.
The handset features 8GB of built in storage, it is now available in China, and will be rolled out to other countries, with Russia getting it next month, no details on when it will be available elsewhere.
