| The Ira Thing 2 comes with ICS |
Months after it launched the ‘Ira Thing’ tablet in India, cheap
tablet manufacturer WishTel has announced a second more powerful
iteration of the device for Rs 6500. The new tablet runs on the latest
Android OS and also contains 512 MB RAM, 4 GB internal memory
(expandable up to 32 GB) as well as a 1.5 GHz processor.
The tablet also contains a 7-inch multi-touch LCD touchscreen and a
battery that it claims will provide browsing time of around four hours.
It also has a 1.3 MP front-facing camera, supports WiFi and HDMI port.
It comes pre-loaded with several TV and e-news apps providing access to
over 120 channels and 55 newspapers.
Apart from its internal specifications, Ira Thing 2 supports 14
Indian languages including Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil,
Kannada and Malayalam.
It also bundles an HDMI cable, wireless headphone, WLAN to USB port cable.
Announcing the launch of the tablets in the Indian market Mr. Milind
Shah, Chief Executive Officer, WishTel said, “We have been persistent in

& IRA Thing and are overwhelmed with the responses received from our
customers.
With the launch of IRA Thing 2, we wish to offer the youth of today, a
